Queensland, tributary of Cattle Creek (North Branch), near Mt. Dalrymple, Eungella National Park, west of Mackay.Distribution
The species appears restricted to elevation above 740 m a.s.l. in the Clarke Range, in and near Eungella National Park, approximately 65 km west of Mackay, central coastal Queensland. The area is drained primarily by the Pioneer River.Habitat
Vegetation in the species' range is tropical rainforest. The largest specimens were collected from a seepage at the type locality. The Eungella plateau is much higher than areas within 240 km to the north and 500 km to the south, and receives over 2400 mm of rainfall annually.References
