Types

Holotype, Queensland Museum, Brisbane W10984 (Male); paratypes, Queensland Museum, Brisbane W10985 (Female), W10987 (2 male), W10986 (1 Male, 1 Female).

Type Locality

Tributary of Davies Creek, Lamb Range, Atherton Tableland.

Distribution

The species has been collected in tropical rainforess at altitudes above 800 m a.s.l. on the Atherton Tableland, west of Cairns and from the Bellenden Ker Range west of Babinda. This is the highest country in Queensland.
