Introduction
Anoplodonta fratella is from western Mexico and Anoplodonta nigrirostris is found throughout western North America from Canada south to Mexico (Woodley 2001).
Characteristics
Anoplodonta is distinguished from other Nearctic Stratiomyini by the unspined scutellum and the distinct M1, M3, and r-m (James 1981).
