Introduction

A diverse neotropical genus of small forest-floor inhabiting hairstreaks. One species, C. cecrops, occurs in the southeastern U. S.

Nomenclature

Robbins (2004) has synonymized 17 generic names proposed by Johnson for subdivisions of this rather uniform genus.
