Vegetation-dwelling dendryphantines of the west coast and Mexico, somewhat
elongate and varying in size from small to fairly large (e.g., P. harfordii
and P. albeolus).

Identification
Usually somewhat elongate. The palpi are atypical for dendryphantines, with a large embolic hematodocha.Compare to:
Habitat
Most species are know from oaks or pines from Mexico and the western U.S. Most appear to be foliage-dwellers, though some (P. monticola) appear to be bark-dwellers.
