Scea curvilimes
James S. Miller and Andrew V. Z. BrowerIntroduction
This name was based on two specimens from northern Peru, which may represent separate taxa. Miller (2009) hypothesized that similar specimens from southwestern Ecuador represent a Pacific slope counterpart to the eastern Ecuadorian cloud forest species Scea cleonica.Characteristics
According to Miller's (2009) hypothesis of species circumscriptions in this complex, Scea curvilimes is virtually identical to the eastern Ecuadorean Scea cleonica, but occurs on the western slopes of the Andes.References
