Praepapilio
Vazrick Nazari- Praepapilio colorado
- Praepapilio gracilis
Introduction
Durden and Rose (1978) described the fossil genus Praepapilio under its own subfamily (Praepapilionidae) and with two species, P. colorado and P. gracilis (Durden and Rose, 1978). A recent morphological study (Nazari et al., 2007), however, has found a close relationship between P. colorado and the tribe Papilionini within the subfamily Papilioninae.
