Peachia tropica
Characteristics
Haloclavidae with elongate body, physa-like at the aboral end, not distinctly divisible into regions. Column with minute suckers. No sphincter. Tentacles 16 (8+8) the inner, endocoelic, shorter than the outer, exocoelic, not swollen at the apex. Siphonoglyph completely separated from the other parts of the actinopharynx to which it is joined by a strip of the mesogloea, in its uppermost part drawn out in a conchula. Pairs of mesenteries 8 (6 primaries and 2 secondaries in the lateral exocoels), all perfect, fertile and similar. Retractors and parietal muscles about as in Peachia. Cnidom: probably spirocysts, basitrichs and microbasic p-mastigophors.References
