Type Locality

Satilpa Creek, 8.7 miles (13.9 km) northwest (not "east") of Grove Hill on Chilton Road, Clarke County, Alabama.

Range

Widespread in the Tombigbee and lower Alabama river basins in Alabama and Mississippi.

Habitat

Streams.
