Introduction
A genus of west and central African forest butterflies. Most of the species were originally described in Pseuderesia. Obviously, Stempffer felt that the species bear a resemblance to members of the melitaeine nymphalid genus Eresia, but they can hardly be said to MIMIC them, given that Eresia is endemic to Central and South America.
