Introduction
The largest Josia (except perhaps for its sister species Josia neblina), distributed from southern Mexico to Colombia. Larvae have been recorded from Passiflora sexflora and P. apatela in Costa Rica.Characteristics
Unmistakable due to its large size. It is generally similar in appearance to the allopatric J. neblina, but the two differ in genitalic morphology (Miller 2009).References
