Introduction
A diverse Indoaustralian genus, with species ranging from India to Fiji. Some species appear to be involved in mimicry with members of Danis, Nacaduba and other lycaenid genera.
Discussion of Phylogenetic Relationships
The species groups and subgroups indicated are based upon the synonymic list of S. Schroeder (see Tropical Lycaenidae: Jamides). The "incertae sedis" names are not found in Schroeder's checklist.
