Types

Holotype and allotype, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. 144672, 144673 (male I, female); paratypes, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C.

Type Locality

Seepage area 1.8 miles (2.9 km) east of Clark County line, Hot Spring County, Arkansas, on St. Rte. 84.

Range

Ouachita River basin in Clark, Hot Spring, Montgomery, and Pike counties, Arkansas.

Habitat

Burrows (primary burrower).

Remarks

Fallicambarus (F.) spectrum appears to represent only a distinctive color morph of F. (F.) jeanae and is therefore placed herein in the synonomy of that species.
