A recently-described species from northwestern Colombia. Perhaps a mimic of members of Hypocrita (Arctiidae: Pericopinae).Type material
Holotype: Male. Colombia: Valle, Río Tatabro, 150 m. 7 July 1982. leg. L. M. Constantino. specimen retained by the collector.
Two paratype males are known from the same locality.
