Introduction
The genus Chliaria, ranging from India to Borneo, is very closely-related to Hypolycaena. Eliot states that the only consistent difference is the form of the antennal club, and that the male genitalia of Chliaria are similar to those of Hypolycaena. Larvae feed on orchid flowers.
